    Can anyone suggest a butch laptop with min of 2gb of RAM?

    How much are you willing to pay?

    No point with 32bit Win XP going over 3GB. You will lose the rest for obscure technical reasons.

    2GB is the sensible limit with 32 bit Windows.

      Ah, now I remember your esoteric discussion about Windoze only 'seeing' 2gb of RAM.

      I'm thinking about running a VM version of HP OpenView Service Desk v5.0 It still struggles a bit on 2gb apparently but I think it's still running on a 32-bit OS, 2gb will have to do...

      ..and besides I had a peek at your link, got frightened and ran away...
