I think so.
If you've been on t'bench for more than 1 year you're a doley not a contractor and should take steps to fix yourself.
If you're a permie that's OK, provided you keep the contracting mentality.

In all honesty I suspect there are a number of lying scumbags on this forum. By that I mean those that go on about how rich, clever or otherwise amazing they are. Do you think that anybody lets that stuff influence their opinion?

If you're constantly finding yourself on the bench then you're not a contractor. You're just someone who can't get or keep a job.
