      This inflation thing is only a temporary blip.

      Even Merv says it will only last about three years.

                Just set up a trestle table in the shopping centre with a set of dodgy scales and a sign saying "Sell your unwanted gold here - best prices paid" and pay some sour-faced old tart to sit there all day chatting to her mates on her mobile.

                It's what everyone else is doing.
