Not far from the beautiful north sea.

Thought you'd be all interested to hear.

:smile

Paying well over the odds, but it's only money 'innit? Vendor seems pleased, he keeps hugging me and doing a little dance round the room and laughing a lot. Must be a happy personality.

It's not the Prawn mansion I hoped for, but you need to get on the property ladder before it's too late. That's what my grandad used to say, rest his soul.

So you're buying a house in the North of England, where there is not the benefit of City/foreign money, just when the long-awaited house-price correction is about to happen?
Hope it's a very nice house.

.

That's pretty much it. By doing so I will be helping millions of people, since the moment I buy a house they'll fall in value at least 50%.

Property and climate change.....

I'm seeing recurring themes and wondering if there's any link?

I'm snapping up northern property, as in a few short years it will be the new Costa Blanca.

No wonder you want to buy a house, any house, anywhere!

Try Ireland - nice views, quiet neighbours, stable currency etc.

I'm moving at the moment as well. We're selling up in Winchester and moving a few miles down the road to somewhere with a bit more room. It's a bigger house with an annex for the elderly parent to come and live with us. Not too much land but enough to keep all our cars on site instead of having to pay ludicrous storage fees.

Dropped our price to sell and got corresponding reduction on place we're buying so not too unhappy. Hope to be in by the end of April.

Roughly translated to the following...

You're moving back in with your Mother, you don't know if she'll have you.

You've lost your job.

The Bailiffs are close on your heels.

It looks like something I used to build with my Lego when I was 7!
