Bank Holiday Shuffle

Why would tourists care what day was a bank holiday except to avoid it and the crowds?

Have to say it's the one thing I miss form home. It's nice having a long weekend in October.

Not sure if it's the same bank holiday in Scotland, either way I work septic time so no missed days on the timesheet

If it was moved to April because of that Roman dragon-abuser who never set foot in this country, it would conflict with Easter Monday in some years - including this year.

I think of bank holidays as traffic congestion, cant get in anywhere because of the millions of kids etc.

So for me, a bank holiday would be a weekend when it would nice to be forced to stay at home
middle of summer

Trafalgar day is fine in my book. I can't think of any Bank Holidays in the autumn, but there are loads in the spring.

Would be nice to have a break after August. and while they are at at it can they move Easter Monday to either June or July and only give kids one week off at Easter!
