    Tsunami in Japan

BBC News - Tsunami hits north-eastern Japan after massive quake

Scary film; a huge mud stream rolling over buildings, airport underwater. What a mess.

8.9 is huge; there's absolutely nothing you can do to defend yourself against that, except for having good evacuation plans. You can't design buildings to cope with that.

Just watching Al Jazeera; somebody will have woken up to find an oil tanker in the back garden.

                  Sell, sell, sell!

A banker, a Daily Mail reader, and an immigrant are sitting at a table sharing a plate of 12 biscuits.

The banker takes 11 of them and then whispers to the Daily Mail reader "Watch out for that immigrant - he wants your biscuit!"
