    Anyone got business premises?

I have a few coding projects in the pipeline, but wife and sprogs at home would make it nigh on impossible to implement.

All I would need would be a room, PCs, broadband connection and kettle - that's not so bad is it?

Any suggestions? Garden shed would be too close to home. Prefer not to have business rates overheads for such a project.

WiFi network and a camper van in the drive for a week should meet all requirements.HTH

        Try these guys

Leases from 1 day, looks like everything you need. No idea about costs but it couldnt hurt to ask.

I'm trying to do much the same from home as we speak (obviously I'm wasting time posting on here), and even though I have the house to myself it's still quite hard psychologically to get into the proper work mentality. I think with screaming kids you'd have no chance.

Maybe it's worth trying to sublet a room or just office space off a local company? They could probably give you an internet connection as part of the deal, so no need to have a phone line, and you could probably avoid issues like council tax. If my old employer was in their old office I'd probably be doing this now (as I'm sure they'd agree), but now they're 25 miles away it's not really cost effective.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

Get yourself a virtual office. They normally cost about a ton a month for taking calls and receiving mail and they usually offer space, either hot desks or breakout areas you can use...

              Older and ...well, just older!!

I know someone who works from home every day, has been doing it for years. Every day he leaves the house in the morning, goes for a 10 minute walk and then returns home to start work. He says it puts him into his "work" state of mind.
