    Comfort food

Standard fare at football grounds here I was recently reacquainted with the venerable Scotch Pie. Quality varies as would be expected but what joy to experience flavours of childhood.

Known simply as pie 'n beans it's a real nostalgic trip from pre-school days right through growing up to shouting abuse at the opposition on the terraces, simply nothing better of an evening after drinking wine.

      Cauliflower cheese.

I've never had toad-in-the-hole you know, Dave. I don't know why.
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

          Cake.

Thanks to this thread, I'm starting to get the munchies - should I nip out for a kebab/shawarma?

Double pepperoni pizza or baked potato with beans, cheese, marmite and Tabasco.

              WTF is one of them?

Yes please - I'd like a chicken kebab if you're going.

                A lebanese wrab.

Actually, probably more Arabic than exclusively Lebanese but you tend to get them from Lebanese restaurants.
