    According to the Telegraph, the leader of the rebellion in Libya fought against the allies in Afghanistan.

    Libyan rebel commander admits his fighters have al-Qaeda links

    Nice to see the govt doing it's due diligence...
    Older and ...well, just older!!

      Ah yes, but Politics is all about doing what is expedient at any given time. Dynamics can alter, and usually do. Perpetual sulking gets you nowhere as a nation state. We above all realise that. That is how we got ourselves a huge Empire. More faces than the Town Hall Clock.

        Indeed. Although one would think that, given our past history in interfering in other nation states, particularly those in sandy places, we would appreciate we're not very good at it...

          Ah but that would necessitate one or more Politicians admitting that they had made a mistake. Tragically something else that seldom happens.
