    Laptop problem!

I know I should post this in Technical but what the heck!

I have a strange laptop problem, its too heavy.

Is there any possibility that I could find some kind hearted fellow to take a look at it?

Have you thought of joining a gym?

Thanks Space! Exactly what I was looking for, I will give them a go. I just hope a serial killer type wont turn up and bludgeon me to death using my own laptop.

Have you tried removing some files?

Take out the battery and let it drain for 3 months.

My 'old' laptop weighs a tonne... new style Dell with big screen and a 9 cell battery.
Didn't notice it so much when moving it about in the car, but when I commuted 2 hours by trains every day for 9 months I started to get clicks in my joints which later turned into pains..

Stopped doing that commute now, got new laptop and I'm as good as new, but will always buy a much lighter laptop model from now on.

Use a smaller font, documents not only weigh less, you save on ink when they print.

                  Is it dual core?

If so, take one of the cores out.

Also, compress all your files to make them lighter.
