Government looking at Great Firewall of Britain

Ed Vaizey MP Minister for Culture, Communications and Creative Industries has confirmed that the government is now looking into introducing powers for ISPs to determine what sites are suitable and should be accessible from the UK

Coming out of this meeting was a proposal for a Working Group to be formed to look at industry self-regulatory measures to tackle online copyright infringement through site-blocking.

These Hoons just won't let this go, will they? It irks them so much that they keep bleating "something must be done" like some Ayn Rand looter.

I mean, how can they continue lying and stealing with whistleblowers showing what a mendacious elitist bunch they are, if the internet is not under their control?

I bet Jim Devine is wishing there was a government regulated internet today.

They'll be fine. Monitored, tracked and analysed but fine nonetheless.

I'll bet you anything you like that the EU is behind this. They're the real obsessives, who won't let anything go.

Dave and co must jump at the sight of their own shadows - Why can't they just tell the EU to eff off?!

Each person in the UK now pays £300 per annum, and rising, for the privilege of being micromanaged by EU functionaries.

I've sent a strongly worded letter to my MP. That should put a halt to such shenanigans!

Does that include bailout costs for Porgual and whoever is next? All paid for with borrowed and printed money too! Seems like being able to print has it's disadvantages, you end up handing it over to countries that can't print.
