Changed the stock speaker to a Celestion Vintage G10 (that rocks), moved the spring reverb unit outside of the chassis housing and into the cabinet, rewired and shielded some of the cabling. Net result changes the amp from mediocre to an excellent studio / small gig box. No more buzzing or hum.

It has a DI so straight to the mixing desk and into the computer, no meed to mic up unless I want some room ambience. For modelling I use a Pod 2.0 but prefer the sounds straight from the amp.

I feel slightly inadequate with my marshall MS4.

Although as I can't actually play the guitar, I don't need anything too flash
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Fair do's. I have a thing called Guitar Rig that does the amp & speaker modelling actually, I've never tried to put my guitar through it though.
