    Any cowboys on here

Come on you know who you are.

You charge extortionate rates, complain all the time, leave the job angry and bugger up the project only for your replacement to gasp in astonishment.

Thing is you'll probably make it to retirement before you're busted.

Easy to spot on a CV when someone has had a succession of 3 month contracts doing things that you would imagine would be part of a project that would normally take 1-2 years.

        1. "You charge extortionate rates"

        2. "complain all the time"

        3. "leave the job angry"

        4. "bugger up the project"

On crap projects I tend to find the flow it 4,1,2,3 not 1,2,3,4

If the client want a problem fixer which happens after 4. they have to do 1. and then 2 & 3 happens because 4 happened in the first place. I have rarely seen one man contractors go down the 4,1,2,3 path. Big name consultants yes, unskilled permies yes but hired gun contractors very rarely cause 4,1,2,3 or 1,2,3,4

I had one gig where people on my team would whistle a well known piece by Sergio Leone when certain people from another project we had to interface with walked by.

            Yeehah!
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'
