Leave it out, Guv'nor, Come on George.

    Sweeny reboot.

    Sounds promising.

Ben Drew was an utterly convincing small time crook / menacing chavvy tosspot in Harry Brown, so assuming that was acting and not just his personality coming through he should be up to the job, although Danny Dyer or Jason Statham would have been a good shout as well. Actually, pencil those two in for the professionals movie.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Danny Dyer is only good for playing the role of sycophantic little scrote - imo

      Statham with a perm? FFS!

Danny Dyer with the perm, obviously.

I did used to think he was a bit of a twat but I quite enjoyed Dead Man Running, he was a lot less odious.

Sorry, but even Ray Winstone and 'Plan B' don't have the charisma to pull this off.

What made the original Sweeney so good was that the actors were relatively unknows at the time, so we only knew then as Regan and Carter.

That and the lack of political correctness of the times made the show seem pretty realistic. Things are so different now with how the fuzz can collar scrotes that the only thing this will have in common with the original is the names. Don't we have enough cop shows as is it.

I get the feeling this will be as tulipe as the recent Minder reboot they tried with Shane Richie.

Just more idea-less producers and writers. Why not go to hollywood and remake another movie you boring *****. Leave our classics alone.
Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it
Feist - I Feel It All
Feist - The Bad In Each Other (Later With Jools Holland)
