    Really weird films

Mamma Mia! on ITV1 at the moment.

Star studded cast - Meryl Streep, Pierce Bosnan, Julie Walters, Colin Firth.

Thus far, middle aged wimmin dancing to Abba hits.

    Oh, this is soooo wrong.

And now Pierce Brosnan is miming to SOS.

So surreal it's actually worth watching.

I suppose it could be a Caribbean island though.

(a bit of mindless viewing while waiting for my casserole to be just right isn't a problem)

Tongue in cheek with that one. Not a movie I'll be watching anytime soon.

So is Colin Firth going to climb out of a pond and claim the young lady in question?

Hint to Colin - she ain't as intelligent or attractive as the last time you did that. She talks Yank too.

Mind you., Colin might have made more brass out of the later effort.

Aye. Highest grossing film at the UK box office in 2008.

A lot of wet saps Abba fans out there.
