A unique method of writing of the software stuff.

Get back to posting this sort of stuff in TPD!
    No sooner requested than done.

This related, so far as I recall, to the unique method of writing software invented by some Esteemed Customer or other.

Ah yes, I remember who it was now.

    Seems not to realise that

    Code:
STATUS ;supposed address of status reg, actually 0x00
    is not the same as

    Code:
STATUS equ 0x03 ;address of status register
The comments above, naturally enough, are mine.

This has to be in by May.

Despite these bijou problemettes with the code, he's got it writing in some obscure way to an LCD.

It sort of works as long as Zeity applies his claw in a specific place on the interface.

Though it must be said that I don't spell "Moisture" quite the way it's displayed.

Having corrected various errors & warnings, it now does rather less than it did before.

Little though that may have been.

    Tell me about it.

Esteemed customer has just left & not in a good move.

I have no idea what his software is doing & neither has he.

    Ho hum.

The pile it high & debug forever approach to software "engineering".

It wouldn't be so bad if he wasn't collecting various bits of compiled code and joining it together.

A more futile means of coding it would be difficult to find.

Can some one give me a hand please? This one keeps popping up, I think we need some more bricks.

In General? Won't last long. One of those ne'er-do-wells will pop it in LR before you can say "MF is a ladyboy".

                  It's a fascinating concept, nothing.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

                    Mind-boggling in fact.

There's miles of it between here and the end of space.
