I have myself booked down for that as well, only a couple of tasters though, don't know if I'll go for the license yet.

Nearest I've been to anything like that is parascending - Hooked up to a parachute attached to a landrover, whose driver then toes it across a large field.

Not quite in the same league though, I'll concede, but good fun all the same.
