"Volunteers are paid up to £150 a day to take part in clinical trials. "

It is being off-shored already. But clinical trials ideally need to be tested on samples from the population in question, as there is sometimes a large difference in outcome. Statistics at work.
    Hard Brexit now!

Interestingly (or not). They don't like doing clinical trials in France. Because of their fondness for anal insertions, which tends to mean the drug acts differently.

Have to say what happend here is odd that site is used throughout the pharma industry, and in this case the animal model didn't show anything. Wouldn't be surprised if they cocked up the dose.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”
