    Fish Pedicures

I'd heard of this in Asia years ago and we spotted it on holiday in Spain a few weeks back. On arrival back it's everywhere. Seems to be the latest craze in nail bars / beauty clinics /spas

    Anyone tried it?

What happens in General, stays in General.
You know what they say about assumptions!

I did ... still got hard skin on my feet. So didn't really work.

Maybe there's a market for a male fish pedicure?

It's been going on in Turkey for years.

Trouble is the EU elf-n-safety Nazis are onto it now, on the grounds that the fish can, or could in theory (so they claim), spread fungal infections from one person's foot to someone else's.

I saw this mentioned in a Groupon deal and thought it was some sort of joke.

Why don't you just book a holiday in Sharm El Sheik instead

In principle this is actually good for the feet as the fish only eat the dead skin, however in practice this would only work if the water is regularly replaced with clean water rather than what usually happens is that after an hour or so the water is that nasty any positive effect is out weight by the tulip in the water
