They played at the Coventry Ricoh stadium (or, as I knew it, "that big place next to Tesco's") and had an attendance of 13,885.

Bearing in mind I know bugger all about sport, and even less about football, can someone explain why it wasn't a full house?

I'd have thought it would have been full of mums 'n' daughters or dads 'n' daughters. (And Benny Hill types.)

Is it because it is poorly publicised, or not 'mum friendly' or is women's football just crap?

Since there's always a crowd even at amateur matches, surely there must be some interest?

It's crap, cos they start bitching at each other when defending corners and won't head cos it spoils their hair.

And, they all fall in love with the referee cos all women love a bastard, don't they?

And, in the bath after they start lezzing it up feeling each other and stuff;

Best part of women's football is when they swap shirts at full time!

It strikes me as a great father/daughter bonding opportunity where you earn brownie points off the Missus + get to watch (some admittedly poor) football + spend some time with one of your kids + get to watch 90 minutes of fit birds running around.
