What are you up to over the Bank holiday weekend?

I'm off for a motorbiking weekend in Yorkshire with my wife, my youngest son (18) and around 40 rowdy bikers.

Its his birthday on the Sunday and I had all sorts of suggestions from the folks coming . Really hope most of them don't come to fruition.

Thursday evening til Monday night I will probably cover 1400 miles.

I'm even losing a days money cos I'm taking Friday off too. Really hard to get out of this mentality. I budget for 6 weeks hols a year, so why is it so hard to not think I am losing money everytime I take a day off.

I don't see any problem here. The main thing is to keep to the speed limit, make sure you have a tax disc and don't park on any double yellow lines.

No bank holiday here but I do have thursday and friday next week off, I will probably go to Stuttgart and look around the car museums and do a bit of strolling in the mountains.

Cycling from London to Paris along the Avenue Verte. Then going to spend a few days in Paris before Eurostarring home next weekend. Only 250 miles, but pedal powered!

It's Girly's birthday on Sunday so Sunday evening we're staying in a nice little hotel we both like.

Also assuming I can get home tomorrow we're having a day pottering round Manchester on Friday as I have the day off.
