    Cake mix

    for mathematicians:

    Flour = Sugar = Eggs + Milk
    Eggs = Butter
    + a pinch of salt

    (all by weight, not volume)

    I always chuck in 6oz of everything. Seems to work.

    Edit: not salt though!

      I chuck in a bit of anything I can find in the kitchen. 1 hour in the oven att 150c, whip it out and chuck it in the bin then pop over to Waitrose and buy a cake.

      Works every time.

          Basic mix I was taught was 2oz, 2oz and 2oz then 2 eggs and you then adjust it doe the size of tin you have.
