    Hi! Where's that jargon dictionary?

    Hello! Newbie contractor, GSOH seeks client with fat wallet for NSA fun.

    New to the forum, have lurked a little and need some jargon busting. Have seen a few that I think I get:

    bob = bob a job = low rate contractor?

    bench = on the bench = between contracts?

    tulip = eh? swear filter?

    Any more little in-house memes I should be aware of?

    Hello

    Now it would be simple if we told you, but as a contractor you should be adept at finding information out for yourself!

      My mind has gone blank. I wonder if it was always that way.

        Thats not quite a bob in standard CUK jargon.

        Off the top of my head you might also need:

              Yes, as in: Bulltulip. tulip happens. I am going to take a tulip. This is a tulipty job. Get the meaning.
