How much to rent a Buoy?

I have just bought a new boat. A small 30ft cruiser.

Does anyone know the cost of a fixed mooring on then Thames and do I need to rent a buoy?

FFS You are a Contractor! A 30ft barely counts as a dinghy. You should put that toy in your garden pond!

Might be differnt in Scotland , but the bouy is part of the mooring.

The mooring bouy and pick up bouy are attached to the mainline, chain and mooring block. If you are renting, they should be serviced annualy and the block, rope, chains and shackles checked and replaced as required. Ask to see evidence of servicing before you tie your boat to it

Come on, make and model please. Inboard ? Outboard ? Age ?

Not looked at the video but the image looks like the Crinan Canal. Went through it twice and lucky to still have 2 arms and 2 legs with the midge attacks.
