I never wanted to be a contractor I always wanted to be a....

Well. I don't really know to be honest. I always thought I'd be a lawyer. I did a few placements at school at solicitors but didn't really follow it through and of course an astronaut.

What did the panel want to be?

While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

I started studying law at Uni before getting kicked out.

I also harboured hopes of being a professional sportsman until about 14.

As I approach 40 I still haven't figured out what I want to do.

A Bum (That's more what I'd rather be now).

          Or a stuntman.

          Or a BMX rider.

          Or a fighter pilot.

I wanted to be a doctor from when I was quite little up to about 14, when I discovered I needed A level chemistry. I hated chemistry - we had the dullest teacher on earth. After dismissing that, I was clueless. Fell into IT. Still here.

I wanted to be a scuba instructor.

I tried it, it's no fun.

Why isn't lion taming on the list though ?

I wanted to be a canoeing instructor, but injured myself far too much for that to be practical, and it pays peanuts

Computer programming is cool so it could be worse, I couldnt be a permie for long though the annual appraisals where if you do well pay rises are nothing to do with appraisals always stunk, when they would tell the opposite to those getting a bad rap.

I know someone who ran those beginers diving courses at a pool, and they sometimes had women with ill fiting bikinis, where the bottoms would free themselves before they noticed so it can be fun
