A moderately amusing blog, albeit from someone with a vested interest (building a social web to allow contractors and clients to communicate directly to one another)

How NOT to recruit an independent IT Contractor (Exhibit B) | RoleConnect.com
“Our client has a role, we don’t have any of the details of that role but, hey, you can apply for it anyway.
Obviously we, the recruitment company, know that such minor details as rates of pay, duration of contract, location of the role, technologies etc are unimportant to you, the contractor. So, even though you never registered with us as a candidate, count yourself fortunate that you somehow appeared on our candidate database and send us your up-to-date CV as soon as possible.
Hopefully you are dumb enough or desperate enough to send us your CV. To re-assure you, the small print at the foot of our email shows how much we treasure your privacy"
