    Bailing out Greece and other countries with sh1t economies ad infinitum can't go on, can it?

                    Its the only sensible option going forward
                    Single currency = single fiscal policy with the PIIGS having their budgets set by the ECB.
                    Failing that then the euro will have to shrink down to the countries who can be trusted not to run up a huge deficit which had been (AFAIK) one of the original criteria for joining the euro.
