    Grand Designs Australia

Watched an episode of this last night on More4.

Your bog standard IT consultants bought an asbestos riddled pile of tulipe, knocked it down & built a shiny new prefab.

Had all sorts of problems with water on the site, 3000 litres per week or more.

Reckoned that there was a spring.

Paid $AUD100k for remedial works, including a special $50k pipe to the council storm water drain.

Then someone discovered the major water main leak 50 yards up the road.

    Oooops.

Yep saw that. Was a crass OTT house and didn't think it was in keeping with the area.

Made me laugh though when they discovered the cause of all the water. A$100k!!!!!! Wonder if he could sue the hydrologiusts or the water board.
Never has a man been heard to say on his death bed that he wishes he'd spent more time in the office.
