'Multiverse' theory suggested by microwave background

Does this now mean our future is not necessarily now resulting in a 'last one out turn off the lights' but instead we might leave this universe behind and occupy another in it's infancy? [Leaving some esteemed CUK egos behind of course]

BBC News - 'Multiverse' theory suggested by microwave background

First observational tests of eternal inflation
The idea that other universes - as well as our own - lie within "bubbles" of space and time has received a boost.

Studies of the low-temperature glow left from the Big Bang suggest that several of these "bubble universes" may have left marks on our own.

This "multiverse" idea is popular in modern physics, but experimental tests have been hard to come by.

The preliminary work, to be published in Physical Review D, will be firmed up using data from the Planck telescope.

Give it a rest idiot - stick to things you know, like what is the new colour of next Apple (US company) toy you bought.

I've already got 10000 posts on CUK in the next universe so you'd better hurry up.

Petulance does not become you, but I think in your case we think we can make a exception.

If it's a real other universe, surely our universe cannot be affected by it otherwise it's just part of a bigger universe?

              Define real.

Fascinating all the same, those insights now give weight to the idea that all events play out. Question is what defines direction, choice/fate/something else?

The existence of god(s) is more likely than some of these crackpot "scientific" theories.

The Multiverse theory will be confirmed by the data from the ESA Planck mission - its all under wraps but there will be a Nobel Prize for this breaktrhough.
