    Whats the best smelling country ?


    I reckon Singapore smells ok.

    Australia is ok as well with the Frangipan experience

    Holland stinks a bit though. imo

    On mainland Europe you are never far away from the faint whiff of sewerage.

    I liked Cyprus, be it grilled meat on charcoal or jasmine in the courtyard gardens, everywhere smells beautiful... what do they do with their shit?

                I found an open cesspit at the back of a taverna. BTW the whole island was sprayed with DDT in the 1950s and it is now in the food chain. Mount Olympus has a huge asbestos mine but people still picnic on the mountain while there are inspectors with protective clothing checking the contamination.

                    I've been walking in the Troodos mountains and driven up mt Olympus a few times.
