    Am I on holiday?

I have a short gig overseas, it turns out today is a public holiday that I wasn't informed of until last Thursday after I had taken the decision to stay here over the weekend, so I'm stuck in a hotel (miles out of the city centre) with no access to the client site and not much in the way of civilisation locally

Yesterday I went for a stroll around the old parts of the city, which is a bit of a trek and a nightmare to return from after dark (after the last bus had gone it took 1 1/2hrs to locate a taxi), so I'm reluctant to do that again, what shall I do instead?

I have already researched loudspeaker drive units rather thoroughly.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Put the do not disturb sign on the door, fire up the kettle, peel off the foil lid, take out the flavour sachet...

Make sure you're on the right side of the door first.

I think we can safely assume that at this time of day I've already had breakfast and a three course lunch. It's a bit early for dinner.

Merry: Don't think he knows about second breakfast, Pip.

Pippin: What about elevensies? Luncheon? Afternoon tea? Dinner? Supper? He knows about them, doesn't he?

Merry: I wouldn't count on it.

That's a hell of a lot of Bombay Bad Boys. It might attract the midges.
