Watching documentaries about the last unpleasantness on NHK

Caught a couple of these as I was flicking through the endless selection of crap on the Murdoch satellite.

One was about the invasion of Okinawa.

One of the residents was wondering why the US Marines were so nasty to them.

    Obviously hadn't head of Corregidor:

    Or Guam.

Or the other Pacific Islands, including Iwo Jima.

The other docu was about Nagasaki.

I worked with someone who was a POW at Nagasaki.

He reckoned that another half dozen or so nukes would have been a good idea.

Anyone else you wish to add to your list of hate today?

Indeed - even down to trying to bring offshore assets into the country without HMRC getting suspicious

Happens a lot in Cornwall. See you at the Old Sea Shanty pub in Penzence at dusk.

I think HMQE was mighty pleased with the booty that Francis Drake brought into the country.
