How do you deal with things you own and moving often?

So aside from having a family, even as an individual, I guess you own a lot of things, often things that you can't or won't take with you on a contract, but perhaps you would find useful like that RJ45 cable tool or your mountain bike... what do you do with them?

WHS. You have a base of operation and then anything else is an extension of that.
