    Lunch

Dammit, at least an hour-and-a-half before I can go out and hunt the wild bacon sandwich to its lair

Better get some work done I suppose...

There is no bacon left. I finished the last of it last night.

Hmm, that's dinner ideas sorted. Hopefully bacon on wholemeal pitta is as nice as with plastic bread.

Make it into a BLT with cherry tomatoes and make sure there is rocket in with the lettuce. Big dollop of Helmans. Sorted.

        Hungry now.

I was thinking more along the lines of plonking a fried egg on top. Would that ruin a bacon sandwich?

No, it positively makes one, as does the addition of sliced mushrooms lightly fried in a little good quality butter.

              Mmmmmmm

That is the other route, and exactly what I had last night.

                Bacon banjo, lovely.
