Top house hunting tip for German speaking countries:
Before signing up check out how far away the nearest church is. Visit it early in the morning to check when the bells fire up.
Ditto for clock towers. They go off every quarter of an hour, right through the night.
My nearest church kicks off at 6:20. I am glad I don't live any closer to it.
I wasn't so lucky with the clock tower. In the middle of the night when all is quiet, it's a bit on the loud side. It took some time to get used to that.Behold the warranty -- the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh away.Comment
