    Las Vegas trip

Decisions decisions, should I go to the Grand Canyon or a corner on Winslow Arizona?

The GC is utterly draw-droppingly amazing. Are you the kind who would consider hiking up/down, or maybe you have the funds to do a chopper ride to land at the bottom? We went to the bit which has the SkyWalk (amazing in itself) which was relatively deserted... drive up a dirt track.

If it's one or the other it has to be the Grand Canyon. Can you not do both? Or have you lost it all in a casino / strip bar?
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Think the Skywalk has the most appeal. I like the idea of a finding a quiet spot and a clear night sky.

Trip is not till October. Could do both, thinking of hiring a car.

WHS - we did it in a one engine aeroplane - will never forget it. One second the ground is right there about 10 metres below you then whoosh -

Oh yes good call. We drove from LV to LA via the CAnyon and the route took us over the Dam. They were building a big multilane drigde to replace the existing road which is a 1-lane tourist-clagged road on the dam itself. I imagine that's finished by now.

I'd imagine a chopper is even better since you can land at the bottom and get out.

A boat ride along the river is possible but way outside our time/cash budget when we went. Hire an SUV though rather than a regular car.

I took a helicoptor ride to the GC from LV in 2005, must see if you have the time, inclination and money, was only about 20% of a day rate.
