    "Sheep as a gardener" expression - translation please

    One of my German colleagues has just used the expression "like having a sheep as a gardener" to describe someone else in a new role.

    Obviously the implication is that the sheep will eat the flowers as well as the weeds/grass.

    Is there an English equivalent?
