    Uncomfortable words

    Thinking about it, I find saying the word "Hello" difficult when greeting someone. Instead I will either say "Hi", "good morning", or some other form of greeting.

    Try putting 'Well' in front of it while twirling your moustashe.

      I bid you good day Mr Dodgy!

          That's more of a 'goodbye' than a hello, isn't it?

          Can be very satisfying, à la Dixon Bainbridge (Mighty Boosh)

          You: Good Day!

          Other: But . . . .

          You: I said GOOD DAY SIR!
          The vegetarian option.

              The Spanish hello "ola" sounds friendly, the way the intonation changes. Oddly enough, it's "hello" (pronounced "alo") backwards ("ola").

                  I'm suprised you don't ask for references first, then say hello (depending on the quality of the references)

                    Try the Russian greeting;

                    Zdrastvuitye

                    Come on, all together.....
