hundreds of teenage girls just screamed at me....

Was going to an office next to HMV Manchester today, One Direction (whoever they are) were visiting HMV. Cue hundreds of girls by barriers and a stack of bouncers.

I had to go round the back of HMV to get to said office, through the barriers escorted by bouncers right by where the crowd was - the moment they saw movement they started screaming assuming I was part of the band.

I waved, people assumed I was famous so started taking my photo, so I revelled in a few moments of sheer bonkerdom.

Beat that for a Sunday afternoon

I always find it mystifying to be honest, lets compare:

Hundreds of girls, women and mothers screaming at barely legal boys or underage boys from a seedy paedophilic film = Perfectly acceptable in society

Men could hardly do the same thing without being locked up. Here is the nearest example:

Builders wolfwhistling at young girls in the street = Deemed predators by society

Anyway back on subject, if a wand erection hag screamed down my ear, Id have to restrain my urge not to injure her back.

I got a wolf whistle from a schoolgirl this summer as I jogged past the camp of a local adventure facility. She was either being ironic or had lost her glasses but it still made me feel great.
