BBC News - Raoul Moat inquest: Taser never seen before by police (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-14914425)

An officer who shot the gunman in the chest with an X-12 Taser said it was the first time he had fired that model.
And he looks so clued up too.

Moat had to shoot himself in the end, and even he had to do it twice.

Can one make a taser? Got a couple of old ignition coils in the shed.

I've got an old working 800w microwave in the garage.

Must be possible to make a death ray from that?
