Off to see Alan Carr at Wembley Arena tomorrow.

    Anyone seen him live before?

My wifes choice not mine, but should be fun.

Evanescence in November at Hammersmith Apollo. Now that's more like it.
Never has a man been heard to say on his death bed that he wishes he'd spent more time in the office.

Jimmy Carr is the remotely funny ungay one.

I find comedy loses something in a big auditorium. It works in venues up to a certain size, but then you seem to lose the intimacy required.
Some comedians command a larger room better than others.
            Just saying like.

            where there's chaos, there's cash !

I could agree with you, but then we would both be wrong!

To paraphrase Chris Rock; "I love homosexuals, but I hate poofs".

That stupid way of talking and the camp mincing about just pi$$es me off.

If you're a gay/black/foreign comedian, big wup, no one cares, this isn't the 1970s. Your personal life is not a substitute for comedic talent.

Ahem . . . that's all, nothing to see here.

Find his put on campness tiresome and completely unfunny and a terrible interviewer.

Well SM, what's the virdict; talented comedian or clichéd campness?

Actually I was pleasantly surprised, the second half was a lot funnier than the first.

Campness to be honest was very limited as were the gay references.

All in all a fun evening, would I go again, probably not.

My wife on the other hand was wetting herself, didn't quite have that Laugh Out Loud appeal to me all the time. Think she would be there again in a shot. everyone to there own.

Now I'm looking forward to Evanescence in Nov.
