London Drinks?

I've been on CUK for a while, but never turned up at one of the events.

Now I've just started a new contract in London, is there a plan to have drinks one evening soon?

It'll be good / interesting / (possibly weird) to put names to faces - no, other way round, faces to names

It's easy, I'm the one slumped in the corner dribbling with an empty bottle of Jack lying beside me.

Alternatively you can reserve a table for CUK and see which oddballs sit down at it.

Really sorry but it turns out (letter when I got home last night) my daughter has a performance that I told her I would come to. Why the school only give a weeks notice of when its actually going to be I don't know.

Sorry won't be able to make the Wednesday, if you can manage a move to Thursday, that is fine, but as it currently stands I will be in a theatre.

Yeah, a lot of people can't do Fridays for that reason, and a few head up on Thursday night and work from home Friday which is why we usually do Wednesdays. Best thing to do is pick a date, set it in stone and see who can make it. If you try to please everyone nothing will ever happen.
