    California Dreaming...

Big meeting tomorrow. Discussions about taking a job/contract and moving to the US. The land of the free.

Waited over a year for this. Fingers crossed.

Two years ago the opportunity came along. Life long dream. But then new child, tied into a lease on a shop, online business, partner adamant they didn't want to go.

Got rid of the shop, got rid of the online business, kids older & partner under no misconceptions that I'm going regardless and can either stay with the kids or bring with. Either way, this time if it comes off I'm going and will make it work with regular commutes.

LA looks like it was a really exciting place to be in the late eighties and early nineties.

You might have missed that boat now ...

LA I would not like, but CA is lovely. We're thinking to move one day maybe if things perhaps maybe pan out. Maybe.

            WHS

My parents had opportunity to move there in late 80s, if they did I'd be running SKoogle now and trolling BN66 thread like there is no tomorrow

Worked in the Bay Area for 3.5 years, liked it and I guess I should have stayed there...
              CA is broke now tho!

So, deciding over California or Luton eh?

This sockpuppet has had too much spaghetti.

Already have an offer for a contract extension 2 miles from home in October. Fancy a change.

Had a phone interview for Luton still waiting. Fancy more money.

Have a chat today with my old boss about a move to San Fran. Fancy some fun.

                  Lot of spaghetti a'going on.
