Plans are under way to give the heads of the UK's 50 top companies a hotline to individual government ministers.

Not such a bad idea listening to business leaders. Labour have hotline for their trade union leaders.

I know which lot I'd rather listen to, and it ain't trade union leaders.

Don't the bankers already have the "please bend over" phone numbers already?
