Rory Weal - A future Labour gobtulipe and bulltulipter

So... some truths about the kid who poured his heart out about sufferring such poverty at the Labour party conference on Monday are emerging...

Rory Weal: Child star of the Labour conference and the truth behind his 'life of poverty' | Mail Online

For it turns out he is the privileged son of a millionaire property developer who sent Rory to a private school until his business went bust.

Even now he goes to a selective grammar school, which Labour policy opposes.

Rory’s father Jonathan Weal, 53, owned homes worth an estimated £2.25million in some of the most sought-after addresses in the land.

He had a luxury penthouse apartment in leafy Blackheath, South London, valued at £1.3million, but it was repossessed and sold for £359,000 – which is still more valuable than the average British home.

Then the banks sold Mr Weal’s £950,000 Grade II listed lodge house in Chislehurst, Kent, for ‘only’ half a million pounds.
In the good times, Mr Weal gave Rory an advantage over ordinary families by sending him to £13,788-a-year Colfe’s School in Blackheath.

But when his business ventures failed, his son was lucky enough to be accepted by Oakwood Park Grammar School in Maidstone, Kent.
So basically, in the good times he was a spoilt child and just lapped it all up, but it was all provided on borrowed money... so when the time came to pay it all back and for the family to live within its means, the brat accuses the "Vicious Tories" that his family can't afford school books.

I know it's not his fault his father's business went down the pan and they lost anything, but his mentality smacked of being owed a living from society and when he can't maintain his previous lifestyle he throws his toys out the pram and demands the welfare state to pay for everything.

What a prick... he'd make a good union leader... watch out Bob Crow.
It's about time I changed this sig...

Yesterday we had Rastani Alessio, right wing gobtulipe, today we have Mr Weal, left wing gobtulipe. Is either really any better than the other?

The right wing gobtulipe didn't seem to be a screaming hypocrite with a misguided understanding of his stand point.
          Just saying like.

          where there's chaos, there's cash !

I could agree with you, but then we would both be wrong!

Still a gobtulipe who needs a good smack in the chops though.

Most, if not all people, hold views and vote for selfish reasons but don't get to air them publicly.

But how can it be right that he goes to grammar school while on benefits?

                Why shouldn't he?

Surely the PR 's at Labour HQ vetted the pillock before they let him into the conference...

Because the majority of Labour voters who are working and not on benefits can't afford to send their kids to grammar school.

It all depends on what their priorities are and personal circumstances. He(Rory Weal) may be in receipt of a bursary or scholarship, we don't know.
