The other day I received a phone call at the office from a guy claiming to be from HR and asking me to confirm my desk number.
I gave it to him, and as expected he replied that it did not match his records and whether I could name the colleagues sitting besides me.
- Rosbif: Sure, hold on... Jass, Hugh
- Dodgy agent: another one?
- Rosbif: Rotch, Mike
- Dodgy Agent: (..thinking...)
- Rosbif: Did you write that down?
- Dodgy Agent: ... hang on
- Rosbif: Which recruitment agency are you working for?
- Dodgy Agent: (beep) (beep)
