Went down to the village shop for some supplies, it's so dark cars on the main road have headlights on and the village street is flooded.

Come on TW, excluding today, what was the hottest day this year?

I don't recall any particularly hot weather this year.

Touched 30 deg here according to the temperature reading on the bike computer while I was out earlier. Certainly felt warm enough.

Is it terribly sad and lonely to light a BBQ for one? The wife's away and already did social stuff for a rugby breakfast... but have some sausages and rolls left and a disposable BBQ left over... and most of a crate of lager...
