    Can't get rid

Long story short. Clientco have got a new contractor in to help out an adjacent team with some simple stuff which all the permies seem to think is beneath them. Apparently he's turned out to be a bit rubbish, and also fairly sweaty, so they're looking to get rid of him. No replacement lined up yet, but they've instructed the agency to stop paying his invoices, to see if he'll just go quietly. Strangely however it seems like he's still turning up on site?

He's been brought in by a consultancy rather than directly by the end client, and it looks like they are stringing him along a bit until a replacement can be found, and trying to get a bit of free work done (even if it isn't great output being produced). Obviously most of us would have had more balls and demanded payment or threatened not to come on site, but this guy seems happy to just keep turning up day after day.

(Word is he was also a bit sweaty/hung over in his interview but the consultancy thought they'd offer a low rate anyway and see if he took it).

How long do we reckon he might keep showing up for without invoices being paid?

      Christ man, show some initiative.

When you get to work tomorrow, just shout:

"HOY, MF, STOP COMING TO WORK"

Or better still don't. To vote in it meant IGAS.

Would not work on MF - he's got skin thicker than a pig, and he punches like a boxer.

And it can't be MF. The OP clearly says he was only a bit rubbish....

Fook me TM. If you made bread a single slice would be about 12 inches thick. If tulip was wit you'd have the toilet output of Lena Zavaroni after a super special diet and if you had intelligence it would be the equivalent of an amoeba involved in a head first car accident in a Tunnel in Paris.

The threads about Suityou you chippy owning failure.

Looks like he's lining up for another hungover day of unpaid sweaty under-performance.
