    Holy Flying Circus

On tonight at 21:00 on BBC4.

    Might be worth a look.

Meanwhile, Grand Designs is on C4, and Horizon (about FTL neutrinos) is on BBC2.

Well it was mildly amusing with lots of ****, ****, bugger etc.

Much as one might expect these days from the BBC.

Mary Whitehouse must be spinning in her grave.

    Oh.

And there was a "mother****er" that I forgot.

And I'd quite forgotten the piles of rotting stinking rat ridden rubbish all over the streets in 1979.

don't like these people speeding up these particles to should extremes. When anti-matter hits anti-matter we'll be blitzed - but won't be around to say 'told you so' as we'll all be toast...

Fair enough, obviously research is necessary, but can’t we let nature be and what is the cost vs. benefit vs. risk? These experiments will all end in tears (to some extent) eventually although Ladbrokes won’t give me any odds on possible outcomes

Don't worry. If you wear your tinfoil hat, you'll be fine.

btw - anti-matter hitting anti-matter isn't a problem. It's matter hitting anti-matter that generates large quantities of energy. Same with Pasto and Antipasto.
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

If it's good and solid... Surely that constitues even more matter, or doesn't it matter?

Spuds? Now that's a completely different matter altogether, a totally different kettle of fish.
