    Delayed games release

Over the past few months I have preordered a number of games, or put them on my shopping list.

    Torchlight 2
    Serious Sam 3
    SkyRim

and now with further delays on release dates they are all looking like they'll be released in November and along with a free licence with new GFX card for Batman Arkham City looks like November will be a manic gaming month.

Anyone else got any new releases on their want-it list?

BF3, can't decide if I should get it on PC or Xbox?

I know the PC should be technically superior but I also like to slouch on the sofa and play on a big TV.

    Same for Batman AC.

Going to get Battlefield 3 when my local stores opens at midnight tommorrow, even got a 2nd graphics card for it

Skyrim looks ace, but I've never finished Morrowind probably let alone Oblivion, so will get it when they have a bundle with the inevitable expansion packs

I'm still waiting for a modern Syndicate or proper strategy game that's more about brain power than graphics power.

Got bored with FPS after Quake, RTS after C&C, and fantasy stuff after Diablo II.

Was briefly interested in Diablo III but it's apparently online only, even when playing in single player mode. i.e. needs a permanent internet connection.

Looks like consoles are killing the adult games, only kiddy games in abundence. There's not even any Leisure Suit Larry anymore.
Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it
Feist - I Feel It All
Feist - The Bad In Each Other (Later With Jools Holland)

The Witcher 1 & 2 were pretty adult.

Comparable GFX performance and £40-£50 a pop compared to developing for a platform where 98% of people will just download a pirate copy the game, obvious outcome really.

Consoles are now the lead platform so don't expect much grown up PC exclusive content from here on in.

I want a copy of Rocksmith but it looks like they have no plans to release it here. I'll have to wait for the PC version and het one of the folks I know in the states to buy it for me.

Essentially guitar hero but with a real guitar

Another edition of company of heros would go down a treat also. But I don't think they have any plans for that either!

                I preferred version 1!

Friend at ClientCo has just finished one or other of these and said it was pretty good.

Syndicate, ahhhh those were the days.

BF3 not really my cup of tea, I like fast paced, tad unrealistic FPSs like Unreal Tournament, and Borderlands.
